Hey there! I’m Brendan, the guy behind Backstory Travel.
I’m an Australian in my mid-twenties with a love of the outdoors (no, this is not a dating profile!). I initially kicked off this travel blog in 2023 to share my travels through Europe on a six month adventure with my partner Charlotte. I’ve always been drawn to the stories behind places and people – so much so that I studied history at university. So, I thought, why not share that love of backstories with others?
Don’t expect to see just European highlights and reflections here though – over time, I’m looking to build up a bit of a catalogue of my favourite Aussie spots to visit as well.
